After partying all night at President Carter's inaugural ball, my date and I caught an early plane back South with Coretta Scott King, Dr. King's widow and her children. Lovely and gracious, Mrs. King also had a playful sense of fun. Seeing us in our rumpled frippery, Mrs. King gave us a knowing smile and tipped her coffee cup saying "Mornin' y'all."
